Gina receives accolades after becoming a hero (she rescued a woman from a mugger), but tells Bo she isn't trying to emulate Hopes' life by becoming a cop. Austin finally tells Sami that there is nothing between them. Stefano visits Marlena and tells her of his plans to take her away from the hospital. He tells her he loves her. The devil is very pleased. Sami, distraught at Austin's dumping her, leaves Salem.
