In Salem, Belle is worried that she hasn't heard from Shawn, and begs Philip to hold her while she sleeps, which he is only too willing to do. Shawn tries to convince Jan that they were never going to have a baby and that Paul raped her, but she is too far gone. Milbauer apologizes for cutting Marlena's head with a scalpel, but says he had to prove she was really dead.
