Ridge laments not getting Brooke's support, and she explains again that it was in the best interest of the family and the company. Brooke promises that someday he will make a great CEO. Nick is worried when he finds Massimo's room empty at the clinic and grows more concerned when Dr. Ying is unable to locate him. Nick calls Ridge and learns that Massimo wanted to go home, Nick decides he must find Massimo before he sees Jackie. As Deacon packs Jackie's things, Massimo arrives home. Deacon tries to make love to Jackie, but she tells him she can't in Massimo's house. Massimo is furious when he hears Deacon's voice and heads towards the door with a gun.
